Collection: Daisy

It all started one winter day in 2003. I then began to paint white daisies on colored backgrounds with oil paint. A few years later, I transformed my creative process and, at the same time, the medium. Since then, I have painted them in acrylic with a layer of resin.

I love exploring different background colors in different hues. The white daisies help to bring out the rather intense pigmentation of the background without stealing the show. I like to make my daisies alive, sometimes they dance, sometimes they sing, and in some cases, in the blue backgrounds, it looks like they are swimming.
