Collection: Sailing ship

The click! It all started across the street from my workshop, when the micro-brewery Le Ketch opened. The owner has put a sailboat, a ketch, two masted sailboat in the parking lot and as I take my coffee and my dose of vitamin D outside my gallery workshop several times a day, I always have the sailboat in my field of view.

It was afterwards that I began to paint them. Sometimes as a main subject, a bit like a character, or as a secondary subject to enhance my landscapes, to inhabit them while leaving room for nature and the superb sunset of the St. Lawrence River .
